Where is the fuel filter on a 1992 Ford F350 7.3 diesel and how do I change it?

Is the canister about 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall mounted on top of the engine. Is that it? If so, how do I open it? The canister is white and the bottom is grey. The bottom looks like it might unscrew using something like an auto oil filter wrench. I don't want to break anything, but this looks like a pretty simple job.Where is the fuel filter on a 1992 Ford F350 7.3 diesel and how do I change it?Yes, the bottom unscrews, unhook the 1 wire on the bottom and the drain hose, unscrew the whole filter first counter clock wise, then remove the bottom adapter, yes use a banded oil filter wrench to do this, make sure you fill the filter with either diesel or ATF fluid, ATF won't hurt or smoke and will help the injection pump as well, if you don't fill the filter up you will have a very hard time starting it.
