How do you replace a FORD E-250 Van Fuel filter/hoses?

I cut the fuel hoses on my 2001 Ford E-250 van to replace the filter and now want to do it right because I've been told it's dangerous since they were pressurized. The dealer wants to charge $600 because they have to replace the whole fuel lines. is there a way around this? How do you replace a FORD E-250 Van Fuel filter/hoses?Not really unless you can do the job your self The dealership is right the gas in the line is under pressure but not that much, However you need to clamp it tight if you drive it .

Replacing the line should not be that hard , at lease order one and take a look at it if you see that you can't do the job take it to your local mechanic It won't coast as much, hope this helps. How do you replace a FORD E-250 Van Fuel filter/hoses?you are messing with a highly flammable liquid here, do you really wanna mess with it, no you dont, buy the factory fuel lines and fix it right, this is a major saftey issue, the fuel is under pressure and you want it fixed right, you should have never cut the lines in the first place and now you have a problem, fix it right after all its not just your life on the line if your repair fails, others could be involved!!!!!!!
